Oakridge Archers is a field archery club, affiliated to the National Field Archery Society.
We have members ranging from 8 years old to retirees.
Our club’s practice course is set in the woods in the middle of the Shrigley Hall Hotel and Country Club golf course; we are lucky to be able to practice our sport in such a delightful setting.
We hold regular open shoots there as well as hosting one of the rounds of the PADFACT series.
Club members regularly take part in open shoots, often with considerable success.
The club was greatly helped by a grant from the Lottery Sports Council; This meant that we could purchase a number of 3D targets, catering equipment, and a small Toro agricultural truck for transporting targets and other equipment.
